Holiday June 2021 - Time to paint for fun and be a bridge between 703-studies and 703-15

I used a range of Gouache colours to try to replicate the colours I use for acrylic painting, and still using the dab style for the paintings. I worked by looking at photos and then worked from the impression, rather than detail.
Towards 703-15 - Using washes as a base for sea and sky then colour applied over the top. From photos and scenes from my Holiday.

nybca4 nybca4 - Acrylic on A4 paper - 'Birds at Bempton Cliffs', a lively painting. I added a few touches to enhance, the painting and make sure the different areas were clearly separated. The white flowers in the foreground brought the right area up to the viewer.
nyfda4 nyfda4 - Acrylic on A4 paper - 'Filey at Dusk' A lively painting. Reminds me of a Rothko painting.
